On 18 October 2026 we opened AppCub to everyone. Anyone can now sign in at appcub.ai, describe an app in a chat and get a working Android app, without writing code.

This post covers what AppCub is, what you get, what it costs and what is coming next.

What AppCub is

AppCub is an app builder for people who have never built an app: shop owners, clinics, coaching centres, salons, gyms, tiffin services, schools and housing societies. You write what you want in English, Hindi or Hinglish, the way you would explain it to a new employee. AppCub plans the app with you, writes the code, checks it and builds an Android app you can install on your phone.

It works in four steps:

  1. Describe it. Say what the app is for and who will use it. If something important is unclear, AppCub asks.
  2. Approve the plan. AppCub replies with a short plan: the screens, the features and the build steps. You can change it until it is right. Nothing is built before you approve it.
  3. Watch it being built. AppCub writes the code and checks it. A first version usually takes a few minutes, and then runs live in a phone frame next to the chat.
  4. Install or publish. Scan a QR code to install the app on your Android phone, share it as a web link, or download the bundle for Google Play.

After that you keep changing the app in the same chat. You can click a button or a heading in the preview and say what should change about it. Every change is saved as a version you can go back to.

What you get

  • A real Android app. A signed APK you can install straight away. Paid plans add the Play Store bundle (AAB) and your app's own signing key.
  • A web link. The app can be put online at its own link, so customers can open it in a browser on any phone, including an iPhone.
  • Your code. Every file is visible in the Code tab. The code belongs to you, and you can download it and use it without AppCub.
  • Help with Google Play. AppCub checks the app against Google Play's technical requirements and drafts the store listing and a privacy policy page.

What it costs

These are the prices on appcub.ai on 20 October 2026. Prices in India include GST.

WhatPrice
Describing an app and seeing its planFree
Six ready-made apps (coaching, salon, tiffin, gym, udhaar khata, clinic)Free
Trial, to build or change your own app₹99 for 2 days, 100 credits
Starter plan₹1,599 a month, 700 credits
Pro plan₹3,999 a month, 1,950 credits
Business plan₹9,999 a month, 4,700 credits

Credits pay for the work AppCub actually does. A new app usually takes 60 to 110 credits; a change takes 10 to 50, depending on its size. Work that fails or is rolled back costs nothing, and after every change you get one free fix, within seven days, if something was built wrong. On day three of the trial the plan you chose starts by autopay, unless you cancel before then.

Where to start

If you have an app in mind, describe it and read the plan. That part is free, and the plan shows you what AppCub understood before you spend anything.

If you are not sure what to ask for, start from one of the ready-made apps. Each one runs in about five minutes, and you can change it to fit your business once you are on the trial. The AppCub site has one for a coaching institute, a salon, a tiffin service, a gym, an udhaar khata and a clinic.

What is not in the chat yet

AppCub builds Android apps and web links. It does not build iPhone apps in the chat yet. If you want your app in Apple's App Store, our team can build and publish the iPhone version from the same app, for a fixed quote. The same team can also take your app through Google Play if you would rather not do the forms and the testing period yourself. In both cases the store account and the app stay in your name.
